The full-tang design, with the blade and handle made from a single piece of steel, ensures extremely good steadiness during cutting and gutting, e.g. when opening a pelvis. A drop-point shape and durable D2 steel were selected for the blade. D2 steel is sharp, has good edge retention, and is stainless. It is therefore excellent for hunting use.
